Coconut Palace

Coconut Palace is the latest pitstop in this week's Amazing Race. Who else welcomes the contestants but the Philippine president's daughter, Luli Arroyo.

For a brief background, the Coconut Palace was built by Imelda in the 70's to serve as the Pope's residence during the Papal visit to Manila. I've been inside the Palace three times. The first time for my grade school field trip, the second during my cousin's debut and the third only last December covering a wedding. The place is beautiful but the Manila Bay sunset is the palace's best asset.

Next week the teams will be heading to Palawan. I'm rooting for Ate Des este the Bowling Moms since my favorite team Charla and Mirna have long been eliminated. Go Moms!

Teka, pano kaya manlilimos si Colin and Christie? Parang di magwowork yung beg from the tourists kasi wala naman tourista masyado naglalakad lakad sa CCP. Kung mag Westin naman sila di kaya sitahin sila ng guard?
